Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence, and hope through basic need programs that connect underserved children to community resources they need to thrive.
In 2021, with the launch of our Warm Soles initiative, we now offer high-quality, athletic-style shoes that inspire confidence and outdoor play, to serve children from age 2 to 3rd grade. The addition of shoes also gives us the opportunity to make an impact on the lives of children in need all year round.
Operation Warm’s mission has always been focused on the whole child. Our tagline, ‘more than a coat’ means that the coats don’t just provide physical warmth, but also emotional warmth, the confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope of a brighter future. We’re proud to say that over the last 22 years, the coat has become a bridge between our partners and families in need to access critical resources. Our new mission statement captures the spirit of holistic service.
Impact and Outcomes
Through serving millions of children in need across North America, we have seen that a brand-new coat or pair of shoes offers a child physical and emotional warmth, confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope of a brighter future. Operation Warm is dedicated to connecting people to essential resources in their communities.
With over 22 years of experience and expertise as a part of our resume, we are confident in our ability to connect with partners, manage inventory and delivery services, process orders, and provide excellent customer service to all of our constituents.
We remain committed to understanding the needs of the communities we serve through yearly survey research, data collection, and program analysis.
Operation Warm creates brand-new, high-quality coats and athletic-style shoes for children in need, offering a child both physical and emotional warmth.
The gift of a brand-new coat or shoes empowers children by sparking self-confidence in a way that second-hand clothing cannot. The gift of a new coat or shoes can help students attend school, socialize with their peers and play outside with pride.
Many families living in poverty struggle to provide necessities like food, housing, clothing and child care. The gift of a brand-new coat or pair of shoes offers hope to both children and their parents, reminding them there are those in their community that care about their well-being and future.
