Operation Warm and FedEx Provide Kids with New Coats – Houston

Operation Warm and FedEx teamed up to provide warm colorful coats to local children in need in Houston, TX.

On Wednesday, Dec. 13, employees from FedEx visited Peck Elementary School in Houston to provide coats to kids in need with the help of Operation Warm.

“What a great program to be able to give kids coats. All of us, definitely volunteers, as well as the kids, we all greatly benefited from this and what a way to spread joy during the holiday season,” says Christy Catillo, FedEx.

“It was really touching watching these children who may not have a coat and having them put it on and say ‘Gosh, it’s so warm,’ and maybe even the first time having a coat,” says Heather Smith, FedEx.
