Operation Warm and FedEx Provide Kids with New Coats – Detroit

Operation Warm and FedEx teamed up to provide warm colorful coats to local children in need in Detroit.

On Tuesday, Nov. 14, employees from FedEx visited Herrington Elementary School in Detroit to provide coats to kids in need with the help of Operation Warm.

“We’re giving out about 500 coats to needy kids here,” Todd Treman, FedEx. said. “I started walking down a couple kids and they were sort of reserved and then as they got their coat, they opened up and it’s pretty hard to not be emotional.”
