Announcing the New Operation Warm Shopping Cart & Partner Portal
The Operation Warm team has been working throughout 2019 to make our Community Heroes program even easier for you to help kids in need receive brand new, Operation Warm coats. Last year, we launched our Operation Warm Partner Portal – a resource center to help you with fundraising and organizing an Operation Warm Community Coat Celebration. Many of you shared your feedback on the Partner Portal (thank you!) and asked for some further improvements to our coat ordering system.
This year, we’re excited to introduce the Operation Warm Shopping Cart and upgraded Partner Portal. This season, not only will you be able to download dozens of resources to help you run your Operation Warm program, but order coats with our new Shopping Cart.

Now, let’s dive deeper into each feature and explore how you can organize, fundraise and order coats for kids in need.
New Operation Warm Shopping Cart
The new Operation Warm Shopping Cart allows you to easily order Operation Warm coats in a variety of sizes by gender and coat style. First, let’s dive into the coat styles and ordering options.
The Operation Warm Classic Coat and All-Season Coat
This season, Operation Warm is offering two different styles of coats to choose from when placing your order – the Classic Coat and the All-Season Coat. Both coats have a puffer-style design and come in a variety of colors, but have a few key differences:
The Classic Coat (delivered in boxes of 6 or 12 coats, mixed colors)
Heavy weight coat, soft fleece lining
Created for cold to colder climates
Detachable hoods with smart closures
All-Season Coat (delivered in boxes of 6 or 12 coats, mixed colors)
Mid-weight coat, polyester lining
Created for mild to cold climates
Perfect for active kids throughout the year
How to Use the Shopping Cart
The Operation Warm Shopping Cart lets you order coats and make your donation in a few quick steps.
Our coats can be sorted by category (gender) and added to your Shopping Cart based on the sizes and number of coats you need.
As an example, let’s say you need to order 36 coats, in girl’s size 2, shipped to Milwaukee. You can sort by “Girls” in the Categories section on the left, then order by box of 6 or 12 in that size. Since you need coats for very cold winters, we recommend you choose our Classic Coat. Next, enter 3 in the Quantity under “Classic Coat, Girls Size 2, 12 pack” (3 x 12 pack = 36 coats) and click Add to Cart. Repeat the process for all of the coat sizes you need.
If you want to review your order or when ready to checkout, go to the top of the page and click the View Cart button. From here you’ll be able to review your order, delete any coats you may not need and Continue Shopping or Checkout.
When you Checkout you’ll be able to confirm your account information, enter the shipping address and place your order. Next, you can choose to process your order by credit card or defer payment (request an invoice). If you process by credit card, you’ll be able to save your credit card information for future orders.
If your program has been fundraising online or if you’ve sent a donation to Operation Warm, we’ll automatically deduct your program’s donations from your total. For example, if your program has raised $1,000 online and you have sent Operation Warm a $500 donation check, $1,500 will be removed from the final order total.
Once your billing information has been entered, review and complete your order. The Operation Warm team will process your order and send you a confirmation email when your coats have shipped.
**Please note that if you defer payment and request an invoice, we cannot ship your coats until we receive your donation.
Upgraded Partner Portal
Apart from the new Shopping Cart, the Partner Portal we launched last season has a few upgrades to give you more insight into your account.
Under the My Account section, you’ll be able to view any of your past orders, add or edit your credit card payment information and edit your billing or shipping addresses.
And like last year, you’ll be able to download tons of resources to help you find children in need in your community, fundraise, throw a joyful Coat Giving Celebration and much more!
