Money Mart and Operation Warm Give Brand New Winter Coats to 10 Schools across Canada
During this first-year partnership with Operation Warm, Money Mart visited 10 schools and personally gave thousands of brand new winter coats to kids in need in a variety of cities across Canada. These cities included Montréal, Saint John, West Saskatoon, Nanaimo, Surrey, Calgary and Edmonton.
“Our employees and customers were so enthusiastic about providing new winter coats for kids, we quickly surpassed our fundraising goal. We are proud to be a part of this special day, especially to personally deliver the coats to our local schools right before the holidays,” said Matthew Johnston, Zone Vice President for Money Mart.
Money Mart fundraised for the coats through the fall by asking customers to donate their change in multiple stores across Canada. The company then matched donations raised through its corporate matching program.
