Interact Youth, Sponsored by Rotary Help Less Fortunate Children

By Jalisa Jenkins, Interact President

Members of Seaford Christian Academy’s Interact Club helped with ‘Operation Warm.’  Interact is a youth volunteer organization sponsored by the Rotary Club.  Its goal is to promote community service projects each month.  ‘Operation Warm’ was the first of this year’s projects.  To be a part of ‘Operation Warm’ was a heart-warming experience, not only for me, but for others also.  Senior Interact member Shelby Tyndall stated, ‘It was really fulfilling because you know that families will be receiving the jackets and their children will be warm.’  Mr. Larry Snyder, SCA’s school administrator, commented, ‘I thought it was pretty neat with everyone working together.’  As representatives of Seaford Christian Academy, Interact Club is a group of young people who are willing and ready to help the less fortunate and make the community a better place.
