Twenty-six communities have been impacted by over one thousand employee volunteers.

In the 2018 season, Hollister Co. brought warmth, confidence and hope to children during eight events in Detroit, Washington D.C., Seattle, Columbus, New York City, Denver, Boston, and Charlotte.

Hollister Co. employees connect with Operation Warm’s mission and have a great time volunteering at coat giving events. Volunteers can be seen high fiving and interacting with students throughout the event ensuring that it is a fun-packed day for the children. One volunteer at the NYC event said, “This is my fourth year volunteering at this event. I keep coming back because it’s such a heartwarming day for all of us.”

“For me, this morning is always very emotional,” said Abercrombie CEO, Fran Horowitz, while attending a coat giving event. “Just to watch our associates as well as watching the joy these kids have getting their coats. The energy and the enthusiasm in the room makes you really feel like it matters to them and it matters to us. It’s a great combination.

The 2018 season was made even more special because Operation Warm was able to work with Hollister Co. in a new way. We tapped a few of Hollister’s design experts to gain insight into fashion trends for children. Hollister’s research was a great asset in helping us select great new colors for next season’s coats, ensuring that Operation Warm coats are functional, fashionable and a garment that kids will love to wear.

Operation Warm celebrates Hollister Co. for another remarkable season of giving and for providing over 100,000 brand new winter coats to children across the country!
