Hollister and Operation Warm Team Up for Coat Donation Program This Holiday Season
New Albany, OH, December 1, 2015—Abercrombie & Fitch Co.’s (NYSE: ANF) Hollister brand today announced a “Buy a Coat, Give a Coat” program in partnership with non-profit organization, Operation Warm. For each winter coat sold in Hollister stores and online across the United States from Tuesday, December 1 through Saturday, December 13, a new Operation Warm coat will be donated to a child in need, up to 8,000 coats. In addition to the brand’s in-store efforts, Hollister will offer opportunities to support the cause on Twitter. For each campaign-related retweet, Operation Warm will donate a new coat, up to an additional 2,000, to children in need.
“We know that there are many families across the country who struggle to provide warm coats for their children and are excited to be able to provide some relief to them this holiday season,” said Fran Horowitz, Brand President of Hollister. “Our company is focused on supporting the communities in which we do business and are honored to partner with Operation Warm to reach our goal of donating 10,000 new coats to children in need this winter.”
The Operation Warm coats will be distributed to communities in need across the nation, as well as an elementary school near the company’s headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.

“We are blown away by the generous support of Hollister,” said Richard Sanford, Chairman & Founder of Operation Warm. “By embracing our mission and sharing it with their customers, Hollister is generating a level of exposure and awareness that will most certainly translate to a rise in support for Operation Warm and the American families who need our help.
