Expanding our Reach
Through a newly developed program, Operation Warm expands its partnerships to include broadcast companies across the country. With their support, we are able to give the gift of warmth to more children in need.
Due to the generous funding of Gas Field Specialists, Operation Warm was able to visit the Chemung County, New York’s ‘Strong Kids, Safe Kids’ event on August 20, 2011. Amidst a crowd over 8,000 people, Operation Warm distributed 100 coats to the areas in need families. Operation Warm, in partnership with Pembroke Pines Media group represented by the 94.5 Rocks, kick off our tri-county program. The partnership between Pembroke Pines and Operation Warm has a goal of raising enough money to deliver over 1,500 coats to Chemung County, Tioga County and Bradford County, Operation Warm joined this sunny and fun filled day.
‘This was a fantastic event to introduce Operation Warm to families living in Chemung County. I am so grateful for the support of Pembroke Media for inviting us to participate. This is a perfect example of a great relationship with broadcast companies to serve children in their communities’ Grace Heiderscheidt, Operation Warm Broadcast Program Coordinator.
Strong Kids, Safe kids is an event whose goal is to provide a day and family friendly FREE activities to families surrounding Elmira NY.
