Children in need receive the gift of warmth thanks to the kind gestures of drivers from all of our carrier angels. Each time they picked up or made a delivery, they were smiling and willing to help.
The following organizations have so kindly & generously provided in-kind delivery services for Operation Warm over the years. Whether it be donating much-needed pallets, delivering 15,000 coats to a Salvation Army in downtown Philadelphia, trailers full of coats to downtown Baltimore or a single pallet of coats to a local school–children in need receive the gift of warmth thanks to the kind gestures of the drivers from all of our carrier angels. Each time they picked up or made a delivery, they were smiling and willing to help (even during blizzards)!
Operation Warm certainly could not do it without their help!
While all of the deliveries are important and a number of fantastic stories can be shared, one in particular stands out. Office Basics was making a delivery of nearly 4,000 coats to a location in Philadelphia when the skies published up and the rain poured down. The organization had a few volunteers on hand to help unload but not enough to beat the cold rain from wetting the boxes. Without hesitation, the 4 man Office Basics crew jumped right in line to get the boxes inside. They certainly could have remained on the truck once the pallets were off-loaded but instead, they lent a hand and did it with smiling faces. This description fits EVERY delivery; always willing to lend a hand.
Special THANKS to James Walsh!
