Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation Helps Wrap Delaware Children in Warmth

Thanks to the generosity of the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation, Operation Warm is able to provide countless coats to Delaware children in need. Build-A-Bear truly cares about children, and their support of our fight against the adverse effects of poverty is a testament to their efforts. Together Operation Warm and Build-A-Bear are warming the bodies and hearts of at-risk children.

Operation Warm would like to thank the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for their support of our cause.
Thanks to their generosity, we will give even more coats away this winter to Delaware children who really need them!

Shipments of brand-new coats will soon go out to schools and organizations throughout Delaware, serving elementary school children -many of whom don’t
have adequate winter clothing. The coats will not only provide children with warmth, but also enable them to wait for the school bus, walk to school, build snow forts, and go sledding in comfort, style, and warmth this winter. Operation Warm’s beneficiaries share stories of children arriving to school on time and ready to learn, with heightened self-esteem because they are no longer alienated because of inadequate clothing. We hope to serve 17,500 children in Delaware this year and we are extremely grateful to the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation and all our Delaware donors for their support!
