10 Things Not to Miss at Rotary International Convention 2018

This year, Rotary International Convention 2018 takes place in Toronto. In addition to the exciting speakers and sessions, there are a number of events you won’t want to miss.

Don’t forget to visit Operation Warm in the House of Friendship at Booth 811! Learn how your club can get involved in a hands-on service project to help kids in need in your community.

Flag Ceremony

Many Rotarians say the flag ceremony is one of the most impactful parts of the opening session on Sunday.

The House of Friendship

The House of Friendship is where you can browse project and group booths, shop for Rotary merchandise, meet staff and enjoy food and entertainment. Visit Operation Warm in Booth 811.

Rotary Fest

Rotary Fest is a ticketed event that includes fireworks, music, food and more.

Pride Toronto

Pride Toronto is the largest pride festival in North America.

Where: Various locations around Toronto

When: Sunday, June 21th through June 24th

Luminato

Toronto’s international arts festival, Luminato, is dedicated to performance, media and visual arts is not to be missed.

When: Wednesday, June 6th through Sunday, June 24th

TD Toronto Jazz Festival

More than 1,500 musicians entertain all across the city during the ten-day TD Toronto Jazz Festival

Convention Breakout Sessions

Convention breakout sessions offer additional educational opportunities. These Independent sessions are organized by learning themes, such as strengthening membership, developing leaders and service and projects.  See the schedule of Rotary International 2018 breakout sessions.

Rotary Business School

The Rotary Business School offer speakers on Teamwork, Innovation and Change Management.

The Culture Lounge

Known as “An Experiment in Fun,” the Culture Lounge features crafts, activities and games that don’t require a common language.
