The invitation to the Baltimore Coat Event.
Elev8, like many of our community partners, used the coat distribution to encourage parents to take advanatge of other services they provide, such as their spring-out-of-school activities and health care services.
Elev8 is part of East Baltimore Development, Inc. (EBDI) a public partnership established in 2002 to facilitate one of the groundbreaking comunity redevelopemnt projects in the country. EBDI's partners include the City of Baltimore, the State of Maryland, the Annie E. Casey Foundation, the Johns Hopkins Institutions, the Baltimore Community Foundation, the Goldseker Foundation and others.
The coat distribution was made possible by Bank of America Baltimore, Ober|Kaler Attorneys at Law and The Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation.
The four schools included Collington Square School of the Arts, Dr. Raynor Browne, Academy, Tench Tilghman Elementary/Middle School and the East Baltimore Community School.
