BNY Mellon Volunteers Help Head Start in the Bronx
November 22, 2010
The volunteers read stories, did an art project and distributed the coats. The children promised to read a new book during the month of November with their families. The Head Start Center is one of seven operated by Leake & Watts Services, one of New York's leading organizations that supports children and families. Founded in 1831, it provides services to over 2,800 children, adults and families in the greater New York area. Operation Warm is proud of its partnership with BNY Mellon, who provided funds for the coats and to Leake & Watts Services for all they do to help those in need.
