One Night Without Warmth Video Contest

Prizes: A Grand Prize winner will receive $500! The second and third place winners will win an Operation Warm t-shirt and zipper pull!
Submission Guidelines: Submit a video of 30 to 90 seconds highlighting Operation Warm’s national awareness event: One Night Without Warmth. The video should highlight 1) childhood poverty in the United States and 2) Operation Warm’s efforts of providing a new, warm winter coat to children living poverty around the country.

How to submit a video: Upload your video submission to YouTube, and then submit the Official Entry Form here. Include your video’s YouTube link on the Official Entry Form.
• The YouTube video must be tagged with ALL of the following tags to be considered a qualifying entry: “One Night Without Warmth”; “coats”; “winter coats”; “Operation Warm”; “children”; “poverty”.
• Entries must be submitted no later than Feb. 15th, 2012 at 11:59 PM EST.
• Before uploading the Video you will be required to agree specifically that:
(a) you have read or have had the Video Contest Official Rules read to you and you are in agreement with the terms;
(b) you are over the age of 16 at the date of entry. (All contestants between the ages of 16 to 18 must have permission of an adult to receive any prizes or remuneration on their behalf);
(c) you personally created, wrote and produced your video submission and you have received permission for the use of the image/likeness of any and all identifiable persons appearing in your video submission
• Entries with profanity or other potentially offensive remarks/symbols/images will be disqualified.
• We’ll post the top 5 finalists and their videos to our website on Feb. 20, 2012, at which point we will notify the finalists. See Video Contest Official Rules for how the finalists will be selected. At this stage, the public voting will begin on the Operation Warm website. We encourage you to get the word out to your friends/family/supporters to come to our website to vote for the best video.
• Public voting will end on Feb. 29, 2012 and the winners will be determined by the number of votes each entry receives.
• The winner will be contacted within 48 hours of the end of the voting period.
