Warm Coats...Open Minds, the college and university program was established by Operation Warm as a way for students to learn about philanthropy. We offer an easy to establish community service program that allows students an opportunity to develop an understanding for children in need in their surrounding communities.

In addition, we, like so many others, are concerned about the environment and we have developed a sustainability curriculum that college students can use to introduce children to the importance of preserving our natural resources. Our initial program focuses on water. The curriculum is available for students to use in the classroom, in after-school programs, or in any other appropriate setting. Warm Coats...Open Minds, the college and university program is also designed to provide a range of opportunities for students to impact their communities in significant ways. Operation Warm will help you establish the program, organize the logistics, share fundraising ideas, and, if necessary, identify local organizations or schools whose children need your support.
