The University of Pennsylvania

Members of Penn’s Panhellenic and MultiCultural Greek sororities raised funds by having bake sales, soliciting friends, parents and fellow students and raised over $4,500. That allowed the group to provide new coats to over 300 students at the nearby Alexander Wilson School, a public elementary school about a half mile from the campus. Read More

At Villanova University, in Villanova, Pennsylvania students in the Nursing Senate and the National Honor Society raised over $2,500 and selected the Jay Cooke Elementary School in nearby Philadelphia, where they distributed coats to over 150 children.Read More

The Alpha Xi Mu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, at Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan, started a coat program last fall. HFCC was founded in 1938 and offers Associate Degrees in a wide range of disciplines, over 14,000 students attend the college.Read More
