82 Old Navy Stores Partner with Operation Warm to Provide Coats to Children in The Great Plains
November 15, 2011
Old Navy is partnering with Operation Warm for this week-long event in a unified effort to ensure children living in poverty in their communities receive the gift of warmth as the nation's weather turns cold. Operation Warm is the only organization in the country whose sole mission is distributing new winter coats.
"We are thrilled to have Old Navy partnering with us to reach children in the Great Plains," said Carey Palmquist, Operation Warm's Executive. "Old Navy has been a wonderful partner and sharers our vision that no child should be left in the cold." With 16,000,000 children living at or below the poverty level in the U.S., it is through these partnerships that the word is spreading that these children need help.
