Over 31 agencies in greater Boston partnered with Operation Warm; they include schools and community organizations that serve children in a variety of ways. Those organizations are the conduit to the 3,000 children in need who will receive new winter coats.
One of those organizations, Bay Cove Human Services, according to Candace Chang, Director of Child and Family Services, belives the coats are an important element of their efforts, “The Early Intervention program serves many families with young children who are living in poverty. It is wonderful to be able to occasionally help with things such as winter coats for families who are otherwise unable to provide this for their children.”
