At Operation Warm, every donation is important. $15 helps provide a new winter coat to a child most in need. With larger donations, we can serve entire classrooms, elementary schools or districts. Your donations make it happen - bringing the program to communities we serve, nearest your area.
With your support, Operation Warm has distributed over 500,000 new winter coats to children most in need. We continue to operate cost effectively, distributing large volumes of coats while maintaing a small corporate staff. This allows donations to be directed to funding the coat program and for other philanthropic endeavors, rather than to costly fundraising initiatives and administration. Approximately 90% of our donations are spent directly on the program - putting coats on needy children.
Donations that are sent to Operation Warm are aggregated by geographic area, so that we can serve children in communities, nearest your area. We have established relationships with other nonprofit organizations, called strategic and community partners to expand our reach and ensure that we get to those children most in need. Civic organizations, such as Rotary Clubs, collaborate with Operation Warm and bring coat distributions and programs to local communities. More and more, college and university students are selecting Operation Warm to help disadvantaged children in their areas.
